Rise Above [Japan] - I Love To Relax [2001]

Japan's Rise Above second full length, put out on a 3" CD by Eclipse Records. The production on here is simply amazing, their previous full length "Sound Systematic Grind" has a clearer metallic edge, where on "I Love To Relax" it's downright brutally gritty and blown out, encompassing true punk spirit, a sense of visceral urgency. I guess their disbanding was logical, grindcore pinnacles are not acheived on a weekly basis.
