Before you loudly utter a "HOLY SHIT!", know that it's one of those rips that could be much better, really. I have no other, however, so this will have to do for now. And hey, all of us whose ears have already been deflowered by tons of noisiness won't care that much anyway. What I mean by all this is that the highs are set a bit too high on the EQ. Seriously though, they're so high that even Orfee might mind (well, maybe not :D).

Swarrrm's side is comprised of a few Against Again songs, and Poppo, a short acoustic piece unheard on any other release of theirs. To say that Poppo wasn't Swarrrm's style wouldn't be quite right, but yeah, usually some crazy Japanese guy starts screaming; sooner or later.

I think Edge of Spirit originally formed in Kobe, just like Swarrrm, but apparently the band is now based in Tokyo. Judging by the songs on the band's myspace, this EoS is a bit different than the one today. "Voice of Victim" is cheerful, riff-oriented, melodic (vaguely) death metal. I find it recalls the similarly named, very well-known Swedish band o' Swanö Dan, Edge of Sanity, but I wouldn't quote myself on that since it's not really my piece of cake. While the fact that I totally enjoy this song is true, I can't say that I'm very fond of the new one's completely standard form of rehashed-a-thousand-times melodic death metal (you know, the one that metalcore raped).

Download My Voice (Mediafire)

"Flow my needles
Along the vinyl track, sexy black swirl
Music management a formula, for the same kind of lifeless melodeath"

Holy Shit! (it was too late)

Anyway, if you run it through a gain reducer and turn the bass levels on your equalizer up it sounds pretty good.

Even the winamp EQ should do, I reckon, but I'll leave any further editing to whoever wants to do it. The rip's 320kbps and all too.

And Swarrrm indeed.

There is two types of RCA inputs in the mixer I plug my turntable in, ceramic and magnetic. This sounds like the input I wouldn't choose.
Does anyone else notice how the bass is sometimes the lead instrument, just like reggae?

Yep, as you guessed EoS is originally from Kobe dude. Long time ago they officially commented their name has no relationship with Edge of Sanity.

As always, thanks for the info Mr. Anonymous!
